List of games you can buy on playstation network

To get the most out of your hardware, you'll want to consider picking up a few accessories. But as with the consoles themselves, most PS4 and PS5 accessories are not on sale right now. Even so, when we find worthy deals, here's where we'll put them. The media remotes also have a special place in my heart, because controlling Netflix with a controller is a sub-par experience IMO.

Even if you can't score a deal, you may want to pick up a headset or extra controller at list price. Chances are, you'll get your money's worth out of them. If you own more than a small handful of games, you probably know that the PS4 and PS5's onboard storage can run out fast. That's especially true with massive space hogging titles like Red Dead Redemption 2 and Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War taking up absurdly large chunks of hard drive space.

And if you're a PS Plus member who regularly downloads the free monthly games, you'll be out of space before you know it. No one likes juggling games on their hard drive, especially considering how slow the PSN can be. Thankfully, it's incredibly easy to expand the onboard storage.

Just plug in one of the discounted external hard drives above, format it in the settings menu, and you'll be able to keep more games at the ready. Note that you can't store PS5 games on an external hard drive. You can, however, play backwards-compatible PS4 games which is to say, almost all PS4 games from an external storage device. PlayStation 5 is technically out, but you wouldn't know that by, like, actually looking for it. It's sold out everywhere nearly all the time.

Some retailers announce when they're going to get new stock, but others just flip the "Sold Out" button to "Add to Cart" without warning. In any case, the links are listed above. Good luck. For several years there, PS4 console deals were relatively easy to come by.

Not so lately, thanks to both the pandemic and the release of PS5. If that changes in the future, we'll drop them here. And in fact, you'll often see possibly shady third-party retailers selling the consoles for above the suggested retail prices on sites like Amazon, Walmart, and eBay. Thank You. Crossing my fingers that Sony adds them in. Remote play? If your plan is to play these games remotely buy a Vita, if you can find one, and enjoy.

So I doubt anything to worry about. I plan on getting it and changing some of the games etc. Chrono Trigger is the better of the two and one of the best Rpgs of all time. I own Trigger on psn and ds. I am kinda disappointed in the lineup for those who havent played these games enjoy! Ah, what a memories. Gran turismo 1? Castlevania sotn? I think it will be way better if the ps1 classic can download ps1 games from psn, the first 20 games is free, for other games players can buy it on psn.

I know for some this list is great. Or you could buy a Vita, licensing rights had to play a major factor in what titles made the list, there are plenty of PSONE classics to download and play for the handheld.

The problem with having SUCH an amazing catalog of games is never being able to include all of the amazing genre-defining and genre-creating titles that were available on the PS1. We can only hope that this stirs enough interest for Sony to add a perpetual Virtual Console of their own to future PS consoles and handhelds. Genuinely happy that Crash, Spyro and Medieval are not on the list, since all 3 are remastered now. Great list! Looking forward to getting this!

Huge disappointment. This stuff was all already released as Classics on PSN store! Seriously, do they listen to a single fans request???? Shame on you Playstation.

I have no idea why they did that at all. I feel like some of these games are just fillers.. I love love love PlayStation but I feel like they dropped the ball here.

Why the awful RE:DC version with butchered music? Why even have garbage like Persona 1? Why Rayman 1 instead of 2? Rainbow Six with no analog? Why even put it? Puzzle Fighter, Mr. Are you guys brain-dead? Gran Turismo 2? A proper Resident Evil?

Vagrant Story? Sheep Raider? Any of the MegaMan X games? Chrono Cross? Castlevania SOTN? Your latest decisions sure leave a lot to be desired and make a compelling case to skip whatever machine you put out next.

Crash was remade… the entire Mega Man X series was just released in a collection, Castlevania SotN was just re-released too I did want that too though… lol. It also has less content on PSone than other releases so that might be a reason. Canceling my preorder. This is actually not a bad list. Some really good games on here. Certainly there are other games I would have liked as well but the original PS had a ton of good games only so much money that could be devoted to 3rd party games.

Also based on the the choices of first party games chosen e. They would need to leave some heavy hitters for that one if they are going to convince consumers to buy a mini PS a second time.

Never played Destruction Derby, but have at least heard of it in passing from other people. Missed opportunity. Give us something. And one per franchise is even more limiting. But at this price, not for me. Glad to see everyone so happy though. Definitely not the list I was hoping for. Still, this is a huge, AAA game that was once destined for release on all platforms but ended up as a PlayStation 3 exclusive. It's a game worth acquiring as a historical curiosity, if nothing else.

The first game released by DrinkBox Studios, Tales from Space: About a Blob was an early sign of the talents of the studio that would eventually release Guacamelee! Players control a blob character from space that platforms around cities and unique abilities to absorb mass and grow in size. The game received a rapid-fire sequel called Mutant Blobs Attack , which released on most platforms, but the first in the series remains solely on PS3.

Modern gamers might see Supersonic Acrobatic Rocket-Powered Battle-Cars in action and believe it's some strange variant of Rocket League , and that's because the game is a direct prequel to the current worldwide phenomenon.

Released on PlayStation 3 exclusively back in , the game has more varied gameplay than Rocket League , but that design decision proved unsuccessful. Only when developer Psyonix focused the idea into a sport-like experience did it attract a huge audience.

One of Sony's premiere franchises in the PlayStation 3 era was Resistance , Insomniac's trilogy of first-person shooters that pitted Earthlings against their new alien overlords. The games tell a full, critically-acclaimed story over the course of three releases, but neither Sony nor Insomniac has seen them fit to port forward to further PlayStation consoles.

This important bit of Sony history remains locked in the past, and it could soon join countless other PlayStation 3 games in inaccessibility to fans and newcomers alike.
