RAYCO 7 : This is a special purpose material exhibiting very high hardness, combined with exceptional abrasion resistance, and toughness. It is intended for use on materials with tensile strengths exceeding KSI and up to 50 Hrc. It has unmatched tool life compared to conventionally heat treated HSS broaches, coated or not, especially in materials above 40 Hrc where tool life can be times greater. This material is also recommended for sockets where no drill witness is allowed.
